Was war das für ein schöner Abend.
Am Freitag waren Rivers of England bei uns zum ersten Folkfestspiel des Jahres zu Gast – und das war ein wirklich wunderbarer Auftakt.
Uns hat es riesen Spaß gemacht, den Besuchern hat es wohl auch gefallen und auch die Presse non Waz und RP hat über das Konzert berichtet.
Schön ist auch der Eintrag auf dem Blog der Cellistin der Band :
„We arrive at Tempel, Duisburg. Again we are greeted enthusiastically and two red carpets are rolled out. It’s a community centre and the vibe is GOOD ! We have a backstage area with sofas, loads of food and a fridge rammed with beer and wine.
It turns out to be our best gig ever with people dancing, clapping, taking photos and videos. Such a buzz…. Again we are astounded with the generosity of our hosts as they send us off into the night with flasks of coffee, milk and cups. Oh and more beer.“ – Anniety Hurst
